Purpose: Raising funds for Jeremy Garrett, Jeremy is a type 1 Diabetic. As of July 2024, he entered renal failure. He needs a kidney and a pancreas, and while he waits, he is on kidney dialysis.

The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is thrilled to announce the return of this wildly popular play, The Barnstormers of Space! This zany, laugh-out-loud comedic production delighted audiences in its debut run, and now it’s back for an extraordinary encore performance. And this time, it’s more than just entertainment—it’s an important opportunity to come together as a community for a cause close to our hearts.

About Jeremy
Jeremy Garrett, a beloved member of our theater family, has brought countless smiles and unforgettable moments to Oklahoma stages. A talented actor, director and amazing person, he now needs our help. Proceeds from these performances will directly support Jeremy as he battles serious health challenges and prepares for a life-saving kidney and pancreas transplant. The Garrett family’s medical expenses are mounting, so we are hosting a benefit show along with other area theatres where Jeremy has been involved.

About the Play
Written by local playwright, Ron Hackney and set against the backdrop of a hilariously retro, sci-fi universe, The Barnstormers of Space takes audiences on a wild intergalactic adventure. Packed with quirky characters, over-the-top antics, and comedic twists, this play pays homage to classic sci-fi tropes while delivering nonstop laughs. Expect a mix of interstellar romance, heroic antics, and sidesplitting chaos that only the Barnstormers, along with their friends and enemies, can offer.

Event Details:
• When: March 7, 8, and 9, 2025
• Where: Broken Arrow Community Playhouse 1800 S. Main St.
• Time: Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 2pm and 7pm
and Sunday at 2pm.
• Doors open 30 minutes before each show.
• Tickets: Pay as much as you can. The Suggested ticket price is $15 for Students & Seniors over 60, $20 for everyone else.
