SUMMARY:Southwest Playhouse proudly presents Little Shop of Horrors
DESCRIPTION:A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical\, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney’s The Little Mermaid\, Beauty And The Beast\, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world. \nThe meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed\, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it\, BLOOD. Over time\, though\, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

SUMMARY:Ken Ludwig’s “Moon Over Buffalo”
DESCRIPTION:Ken Ludwig’s Moon Over Buffalo Directed by Paul Weber\nFeb 12-15 19-22 \nIn the madcap comedy tradition of Lend Me a Tenor\, the hilarious Moon Over Buffalo centers on George and Charlotte Hay\, fading stars of the 1950s. At the moment\, they’re playing Private Lives and Cyrano De Bergerac in rep in Buffalo\, New York with five actors. On the brink of a disastrous split-up caused by George’s dalliance with a young ingénue\, they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom: Frank Capra is coming to town to see their matinee\, and if he likes what he sees\, he might cast them in his movie remake of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Unfortunately for George and Charlotte\, everything that could go wrong does go wrong\, abetted by a visit from their daughter’s clueless fiancé and hilarious uncertainty about which play they’re actually performing\, caused by Charlotte’s deaf\, old stage-manager mother who hates every bone in George’s body. \nTown and Gown Community Theater\n3524 S Perkins\nStillwater Ok 74075 \nBox Office 405 372 9122

SUMMARY:The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!
DESCRIPTION:Western Oklahoma’s Untitled Pop Up Theatre (UPUT) is partnering with the Elk City Chamber of Commerce and Christmas in the Park to bring “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Barbara Robinson to Elk City\, November 28\, 29 and 30\, 2025. Director\, Tiphani Henderson is excited to present this a warm story for the holiday season. \nIn this hilarious Christmas classic\, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas! \nThis delightful show is adapted from the bestselling Young Adult book\, and has become a holiday staple for groups across the United States. The crowd-pleasing comedy features plenty of great roles for children and adults\, a few favorite Christmas Carols\, and lots of laughs. \nProduction dates are November 28\, 29\, and 30\, 2025. We are excited to partner with Elk City’s Chamber of Commerce to help launch their opening weekend’s park festivities with this production at the Opera House. Tickets available online or at the door. \nFriday\, November 28\, 2025 – 7:30 pm Curtain \nSaturday\, November 29\, 2025 – 7:30 pm Curtain \nSunday\, November 30\, 2025 – 2:30 pm Curtain \nDoors open 30 minutes before the Curtain!

SUMMARY:SOUTHWEST PLAYHOUSE proudly presents A Christmas Chaos
DESCRIPTION:Produced by special arrangement with Heuer Publishing LLC.\n\nGadzooks! The Royal Shakespeare Company hasn’t arrived as promised to perform their stirring rendition of “A Christmas Carol.” So our intrepid band of hapless actors and technicians must put together their own production in only seven hours! What a pity that they are not quite up to the task\, even though they give it their all. Have you ever experienced backstage mayhem? Well\, you haven’t seen anything yet! The play focuses on these poor but dedicated thespians doing their best while chaos is all around them: two kids fighting over who gets to play Tiny Tim\, a confused actor who thinks she’s in another show\, a haughty lead actor\, one actor playing both Bob and Mrs. Cratchit\, an out-of-control director\, thrown together props and costumes\, ridiculous scenery\, and tons of flubs and confusion. Most of the actors in the show play multiple roles in this extremely fast-paced and physical comedy. Even the light and sound board operators are characters in the show! The play is a hilarious backstage comedy that pokes fun at the classic novel and everything that can go wrong with a theatrical production.
