ANTHONY BATCHELDER WEBSITE AWARD (’11) This award was introduced by the Awards Committee in 2011 in memory of Tony Batchelder of Tulsa, OK. Tony was a theatre lover who often juggled multiple roles on stage and behind the scenes–but he hated directing. He was an expert at lighting a scene, but also was known to steal a scene if on stage. Tony made his biggest theatrical contributions far from the stage light. Tony was a great supporter of OCTA, its mission and its purpose. He created the newsletter and was the webmaster for OCTA for several years. Theatre in OK lost a good friend who was always doing something to create a more cohesive Oklahoma theatre community.
This award is presented in recognition of Excellence in maintaining the Best Website for a current Oklahoma Community Theatre Member.
