The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!

Western Oklahoma’s Untitled Pop Up Theatre (UPUT) is partnering with the Elk City Chamber of Commerce and Christmas in the Park to bring “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Barbara Robinson to Elk City, November 28, 29 and 30, 2025. Director, Tiphani Henderson is excited to present this a warm story for the holiday season.

In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas!

This delightful show is adapted from the bestselling Young Adult book, and has become a holiday staple for groups across the United States. The crowd-pleasing comedy features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and lots of laughs.

Production dates are November 28, 29, and 30, 2025. We are excited to partner with Elk City’s Chamber of Commerce to help launch their opening weekend’s park festivities with this production at the Opera House. Tickets available online or at the door.
